The Jamz Tournament History
From Suheil Jammal, II
Tournament Director
In 2018, the concept of "The Jamz Tournament" began. After a year of planning, the first event began on September 22, 2019. The focus was hinged on several main components: team play, fair averages, organization, very unique and big paying side action, and LOTS OF FUN AND ENERGY! Team play is the backbone of bowling, and I really enjoy the camaraderie of team play in bowling. Fair averages...well...it's hard to achieve, but I strive for legitimacy and re-rate appropriately. Unique side action? Just come bowl, and you will see...bigger than anything you may ever see! And the "Jamz" vibe? Again, just come bowl...you will see!
At the first tournament, 49 teams entered at AMF Sky Bowl. And I was extremely happy with that turnout. One year later, the event jumped up to 122 teams. With that growth, I decided to start running Jamz twice a year. In that same year, the first of its kind in the country, the "One Night Only Jamz" event debuted which featured a mega money tournament on one squad, a catered dining buffet, one of a kind Bonus Game, unheard of side action, and more. And in 2022, I was asked to take over what is now called the "Sun Coast Senior Jamz Tournament."
Currently, I run 5 events a year. Here's a look at the 3 main events each year since the beginning:

NEXT TOURNAMENT: The one of a kind, nothing else like it in the country "Friday Night Special" and "One Night Only Jamz Tournament" return to Bowlero Altamonte on Friday night, December 4, 2026, and Saturday night, December 5, 2026. Both nights are ADULT ONLY EVENTS, NO EXCEPTIONS! Everyone in the building must be 18 years of age or older. No infants, no kids, no human being under 18.
The special events give bowlers a chance to go all in for the BIG money team prize funds and side action. And side action in this is unmatched by anything you may ever see on both nights. The High Game Pots are a massive feature, get great support, and pay extremely well, and I mean EXTREMELY WELL. Do not miss them. For now, I pick captains to attend these events, based on their participation in previous Jamz Tournaments. If either night does not fill with those invited, open sign ups can occur. Just contact me for details.
Aftet that, get ready for huge THREE WEEKEND event in February and March of 2027. Squad dates and times are shown on the SCHEDULE OF EVENTS tab. Scroll down to the 2027 section. This will be an expanded event, with TWO squads on all Fridays, THREE on Saturdays, and TWO on Sundays. 21 Squads in all! More details coming down the road on this event.
