The Jamz Tournament History

On September 22, 2019, "The Jamz Tournament" began. This was my first time running a tournament, but I knew I wanted to focus on several things: team play, fair averages, organization, very unique and big paying side action, and LOTS OF FUN AND ENERGY! Team play is the backbone of bowling; and I wanted to see a packed bowling center, if possible. And fair averages...well...it's hard to achieve, but I strive for fairness and re-rate appropriately. Unique side action? Just come bowl, and you will see...bigger than anything you may ever see! And, the "Jamz" vibe? Again, just come bowl...you will see!
At the first tournament, 49 teams entered at AMF Sky Bowl. And I was extremely happy with that turnout. One year later, the event jumped up to 122 teams. And with that growth, I decided to start running Jamz twice a year. In that same year, the first of its kind in the country, the "One Night Only Jamz" event debuted which featured a mega money tournament on one squad, a catered dining buffet, huge bonus games, unheard of side action, and more. And in 2022, I was asked to take over what is now called the "Sun Coast Senior Jamz Tournament." Here's a look at the 3 main events each year since the beginning:

August & September 2022, Labor Day Event, 2 Weekends: 542 Teams on 17 squads
February & March 2023, 3 Weekends: 623 Teams on 21 squads
July & August 2023, Sun Coast Senior Jamz Tournament: 137 Teams, 265 Doubles, 530 Singles on 8 Squads
August & September 2023, Labor Day Event, 2 Weekends: 538 Teams on 17 squads
February & March 2024, 3 Weekends: 633 Teams on 21 squads
July & August 2024: Sun Coast Senior Jamz Tournament: 183 Teams, 336 Doubles, 672 Singles on 10 Squads
August & September 2024, Labor Day Event, 2 Weekends: 560 Teams on 16 squads
February & March 2025, 3 Weekends: 622 Teams on 21 squads
July & August 2025: Sun Coast Senior Jamz Tournament: 204 Teams, 341 Doubles, 682 Singles

February & March 2026, 3 Weekends: 645 Teams on 21 squads
The next event is the "Friday Night Special" and "One Night Only Jamz Tournament," May 1 and May 2, 2026, at AMF Sky Bowl. This event is currently SOLD OUT! However, a Wait List is now being formed. Call or text me at 321-356-4290 for wait list information.

After that, the next event is the "Sun Coast Senior Jamz Tournament" at Bowlero Spring Hill in Spring Hill, Florida. This event is for USBC sanctioned bowlers who are at least 50 years of age as of July 1, 2026. Entries open on
April 10, 2026. For this, you MUST CALL 321-356-4290 to reserve your spots beginning April 10, 2026. Then you have 10 days to mail in your entry form with a check. You may also pay by CashApp or Zelle during our phone call and then e-mail me the entry form. Thanks!
