Queen Of Hearts Game

The "Queen Of Hearts" (QOH) will be a featured side event at all five of The Jamz Tournaments.  You can click "Schedule of Events" to see all five of the 2026 tournaments.

The QOH consists of a game board containing 52 standard playing cards + 2 Jokers, all randomly assigned to the board, by the manufacturer or myself, placed upside down, and sealed under a tape coating.  No one knows what cards are where, not even myself.  To start the board, I will usually assign a prize value to 3 cards:  the Queen of Hearts, Joker #1, and Joker #2.

The rules have slight variations per event, but for The Jamz Tournament in February/March 2026, here are the basic rules.  Please note, t
hese are partial rules.  Complete rules will be available at the Tournament.

On a new game board of 54 cards, there is a carryover from the previous Jamz Tournament of $660.00.  The Jamz Tournament is also adding in $340.00.  In addition, some sponsor funding will also be added.  It is projected that the starting board pool will be about $2,000.00, and the opening values on the board are as estimated follows:

Queen Of Hearts:  $1,000.00
Joker #1:  $500.00
Joker #2:  $500.00

You can buy QOH tickets at a cost of $10.00 each, and 70% of those sales increases the prizes on the current squad.  15% funds a back-up pool for future prize cards to be added; and 15% goes to Tournament Take.

The goal is to get your ticket called, try to find a prize card, and then bowl a strike the next time you are up to bowl in tournament play.  If a strike is bowled, you win the current prize value.  If no strike is bowled, a consolation prize will be awarded at 20% of the current value, and the balance carries over into the next squad of the tournament.  Special bonus prizes may also be in play on certain squads.  Again,
these are partial rules.  Complete rules will be available on site and announced when special situations are in play, or if a carryover is in play.
