Queen Of Hearts Game

The "Queen of Hearts" (QOH) will be a featured side event at of the The Jamz Tournaments.  You can click "Schedule of Events" to see all of the 2026 and 2027 tournaments and dates.

The QOH consists of a game board containing 52 standard playing cards + 2 Jokers, all randomly assigned to the board, by the manufacturer or myself, placed upside down, and sealed under a tape coating.  No one knows what cards are where, not even myself.  To start the board, I will usually assign a prize value to 3 cards:  the Queen of Hearts, Joker #1, and Joker #2.

The rules have slight variations per event, but for The Jamz Tournament coming up in August & September of 2026, here are the basic rules.  Please note, t
hese are partial rules.  Complete rules will be available at the Tournament.  Special rules on certain squads may be in play and will be announced.

Heading into the 2026 Sun Coast Senior Jamz Tournament, the "Future Carryover Pool" (FCP) had a balance of $390.00.  After that event concluded, the FCP increased to a total of 2,580.00.  The FCP is utilized at my discretion, and of the $2,580.00 amount, all of it will be used to seed the QOH game board for The Jamz Tournament in August and September of 2026.  Additional funding via The Jamz Tournament is projected at $1,420.00.  This will create an estimated record starting pool of $4,000.00, with opening prize card values as follows:

Queen Of Hearts:  $2,000.00
Joker #1:  $1,000.00
Joker #2:  $1,000.00

For THE JAMZ TOURNAMENT, you can buy QOH tickets at a cost of $10.00 each.   Approximately 70% of sales increases prizes on the current squad; 15% goes to a Reserve Pool to fund future prizes and/or fund the FCP; and approximately 15% goes to Tournament Take.

On each squad, up to 3 tickets (or more) will be drawn, and the goal is to get your ticket called, find a prize card, and if so, you get to bowl for the prize the next time you are up to bowl in tournament play.  If you bowl a strike, you win the full value of the prize.  NEW:  If you do not bowl a strike, you receive 20% of the prize as a consolation.

Please note, these are partial rules.  Full rules will be at the tournament site.
